Banning Advertisement is Easy but what about Media Hypes!
Recently, I have come across many updates on electronic cigarette advertisements which have become a hot topic among makers, sellers, buyers as well as regulators. You cannot endorse a tobacco product but as electronic cigarette does not come under such category, some advertisements were legally broadcasted. But this enraged regulators and many so called concerned and conscious people belonging to this planet. And special thanks to media which left no stone unturned in covering each and every aspect of news, even some media channels came up with their own theories on the condition of anonymity.
I agree that up to certain extents advertisements catches our attention and going by human law we began considering those things which come in our way. Even I have discussed the same in e cigarette reviews that banning advertisements is okay which sometimes depicts vaping similar to smoking.
But who can stop these media hypes. Who can guarantee that what media is hyping on the condition of anonymity is true. And most importantly which media hype to believe. Newspapers, channels, social media and there are innumerous sources of media. And each has its own vision. Some widely discusses about the news face of specific electronic cigarette brand and talks about bright future. While some put emphasis on banning the advertisements which is a potential gateway for nonsmokers to indulge in smoking or vaping activities. Even many electronic cigarette brands such as White Cloud Electronic Cigarette have already prohibited the sale of electronic cigarettes to minors.
Instead of banning advertisements, I really want some powerful people to stop media hypes first then half of the things would settle down itself.
